PHIL ANASTASIA is the answer to the monotony and similarities of today's music. A native of Brooklyn (NYC) who now resides in Staten Island (NYC), after college Phil started the independent label Suga' Shack Entertainment, LLC. After signing a partnership with Chamber Musik Records, Phil?s latest album The Outfit LP is set for release in stores and online may 5th, 2009. Phil is a New York emcee brought up with all kinds of culture around him, who refuses to try and present himself with the falseness that so many other artists employ, creating a fresh sound, which still somehow reminds listeners of hip-hop?s golden era; A new twist on the old formula. He is inspired by rap of the early nineties and heavy rock influences. The aim of Phil and his crew, THE OUTFIT, is to raise the bar for standards of the music industry's products. Phil?s hard rhymes and distinctive voice mixed with the speaker bumping, pulse pounding, hypnotic beats of P version: the King make for a formula that is undeniable.
