Their Album "Wall of People" was released on Stolen Transmission Records, their debut on a record label. They've released two other CDs, "The Red Shift", released independently under the name Monty, which is now out of print, and a Self-titled EP under the name of Monty's Fan Club, which is still available.
They have announced on their Myspace page that they have finished recording a new record, Break Through The Silence, released September 22, 2009
Monty Are I used to be called Monty's Fan Club and is named after Cranston High School West's band instructor.

Monty recently won Takeover Records' Sign My Band contest on MySpace , but ended up signing to Stolen Transmission, and were upstreamed to Island Records. They also won the WBRU Rock Hunt in 2002 and the Ernie Ball sponsored Battle of the Bands in 2003.

Monty are I's song "In this Legacy" is featured in Xbox/PS2 games: ATV Offroad Fury 4 and Tony Hawk's Project 8.
Monty Are I debuted their music video for "Between The Sheets" on August 14, 2007.
They have announced on their Myspace page that their first album exclusively under Island/defJam is titled Break Through The Silence and is slated for release on September 22, 2009. "One in a Million" was the first single, released on August 25, 2009.
Monty Are I used to be called Monty's Fan Club and is named after the band instructor Arthur Montanaro. The "Are I" portion of the name is a pun on "RI", Rhode Island's postal abbreviation.
