Lil‘ Kim released her third album
La Bella Mafia in 2003. Featuring popular tracks like
"Jump Off" and
"Magic Stick" (featuring
50 Cent), La Bella Mafia went on to receive two Grammy nominations and rave reviews from a number of major music publications, among them
Source and
Rolling Stone. Her fourth album, 2006's
The Naked Truth - released during a yearlong conviction on charges of perjury based upon inaccurate testimony she gave about a 2001 shooting - fared similarly well, spawning successful singles
"Lighters Up" and
"Whoa".
Lil' Kim is set to release a fourth album,
Vintage, sometime in 2009.
