Leki (born in Kinshasa, Congo) is the first female Urban/R&B-pop star to rise out of Belgium. She is known for many hits including 'Breakin Out', 'Spread my wings', Over the Rainbow', 'Love me another day' and is also a TV presenter on VTM. She's the sister of Manuela 'Ya Kid K' Kamosi, who sang 'pump up the jam' for the group Technotronic.
In october 2009 she released her fourth studio album "Leki & The Sweet Mints" (Universal Music).
Leki is also sensitive to humaniterian projects in Africa where she is the godmother of a young farmers development activity in Uganda.
Lately Leki decided to accomplish one of her father's dream: the building of a hospital in his natal village of Malambu in Congo.
Via Nanda, the non-profit-making organization she has founded, and under the name "Bouwen aan leven" ("building life")several initiatives -such as the single "Pecuiar places"- will be taken in 2010 to help raise funds, hoping that the hospital will be operational towards the end of 2011.
In short, Leki is a multi talented showbizz icon who is not affraid to take on a challenge.

From Wikipedia:Karoline ?Leki? Kamosi is a Congolese-Belgian R&B artist from Belgium. She is the sister of Manuela 'Ya Kid K' Kamosi. Her first single, 'Breakin' Out', reached the top 10 in Belgium, while failing to crack the top 50 in France. Her second single, 'Crazy', from her self-titled album 'Leki', reached the top 30 in Belgium. Her nickname Leki, is the lingala word l??ki, meaning the ?younger sibling?.
Karoline was born in 1978 in Kinshasa, and lived in the Congo and Kenya before her family moved to Antwerp, Belgium. She is the youngest of 6 siblings. At 12, she performed background vocals for Technotronic as her first record studio work. She signed her first record deal at the age of 16. While completing a law degree at the University of Antwerp, she was hired by TMF Flanders to host the R&B and hip-hop show Cool Sweat. She also host a radio show called Juice on the public radio Studio Brussel.
Leki released her debut album, Breaking Out and was nominated for two TMF Awards in 2004. Warrior Girl, her second album was released in 2005. That same year she was nominated for Best Urban TMF Award. Leki is currently working on her third album, and has also released another single, 'Sitting In My Car', featuring M.I.S.T.A and Babybang.
In 2009 Leki participates with Lexus Concert, a 'hybrid' concert where Leki does a crossover concert at Klara festival with a musician from a totally different style and background. The winner of Lexus concert wins a private try out concert onboard a new Lexus RX 450h. Candidates only have to go to www.lexusconcert.be and collect votes.
