Performing began early in life for Laura, as she invited her parents to their basement for "shows" which consisted of Laura performing songs of the Beach Boys and Elvis. Continuing music throughout school and college, Laura realized she'd found her calling. Her love of Blues and Country led Laura to believe that moving to Nashville was the next logical step in her career path, which proved true as she signed with Equity Records. Combining the love of these two genres of music have aided Laura in developing her own unique style and identity. She is currently in the studio working on her upcoming album set for release in early 2007. Her first single, "Make a Wish," is not only a single for her upcoming album, it is also the new song for the Make-A-Wish Foundation which is celebrating its 25th anniversary. The Make-A-Wish Foundation has been close to Laura's heart since her family became involved with the program while Laura was in high school. She has continued her participation through the Nashville chapter and hopes to stay involved with the foundation throughout her music career.
