Born:Birmingham, ALFoxxjazell is one of the first transgender hip-hop artists to receive mainstream attention. She has opened for 90?s pop recording artists Robin S., RuPaul and Ce Ce Peniston. In the early 00's she left home at 17 years of age and moved to Hollwood. She and friend Maurice Lopez (2) began making and performing music together and soon formed a short lived 4 member group named One20five. Foxxjazell performed on the Homorevolution Tours of '07 & '08 and headlined The Pretty Thugz tour. Her music videos have been featured on MTV, Logo, HereTV, Fuse and Qtube networks. She appeared on the Tyra Banks show to discuss issues she's faced in the music industry because of her Transgender status. She was also recently featured in XXL magazine,IN magazine and CLIK magazine.

Point Blank, this kid has garned the attention of TMZ and XXL magazine just to name a few. Foxxjazell Keva Jackson was born in Birmingham, AL from a family of hardworking hustlers. Both her mother and father worked all types of odds jobs to keep food in her mouth. At the age 6, she became influenced by the likes of Salt n Pepa, Michael Jackson and Madonna. ?I would lock myself in my room and pretend I was performing in front of millions of screaming fans. ?Her parents didn?t share the same vision that she did instead they encouraged her to pursue a career more ?logical? like teaching or nursing.
By the age 17,Foxxjazell graduated from high school with honors and was looking to conquer life as an entertainer. Her influences had advanced to 2pac, DaBrat, TLC and Biggie Smalls. She took a one-way ticket to Hollywood with less than $20 in her purse. While in Hollywood, she started off modeling with a few print ads and also booked a few music videos doing background work. She quickly became discouraged when she realized these gigs didn?t lead her anywhere. A change had to be made.
The change came in the form of 14 year-old Maurice Tito Lopez, a runaway kid with big dream of making it big. The two young artists quickly teamed up and began making and performing music together. They eventually formed a group named One20five with two other local rappers. One20five performed at various venues through out Los Angeles but eventually disbanded in late 2004. Since then, Foxxjazell has performed in the historic Homorevolution tour 07 that hit cities such as San Diego,Houston,Dallas, New Mexico and Phoenix. In 2008, she released her debut album "Introducing....Foxxjazell" which featured the hit singles "Feel the vibe" & "Priority".Her music videos have been in rotation MTV,Logo,HereTV,Fuse and Qtube just to name a few. "Feel the Vibe" also recieved heavy rotation on the radio. She also appeared on the Tyra Banks show to talk about queer hip-hop and the politics of the music industry that she has had to endure. At the start of 2008 she toured with Homorevolution 08 and The Pretty Thugz tour and which she headlined. She was also recently featured in XXL magazine,IN magazine and CLIK magazine. Her current single "Spilt Enz" is already recieving radio play while she is busy at work on her 2nd album "Boy,girl,whateva".In September 2009 "Split Enz" debuted at #41 on the Billboard Hot single sales chart. She is currently in talks of headlining her first nationwide tour this summer to support her 2nd album "Boy,girl,whateva".
