No doubt always an attractive woman, Faith made the decision to lose over 50 pounds for the release of her third album,
Faithfully, which saw a 2001 release. Though widely considered by fans to be her weakest album,
Faithfully still performed well in the marketplace, moving almost 2,000,000 units and producing five hit singles, among them
"Can't Believe",
"I Love You", and
"Burnin' Up". She released her fourth studio album
The First Lady four years later in 2005 on
Capitol Records; widely considered a return to form for the newly svelte R&B starlet,
The First Lady debuted at #2 on the
Billboard 200 and has since shown no sign of slowing down. Standout tracks from
The First Lady include
"Hope",
"Again", and
"Mesmerized".
