Their second album, The Poison, dropped in early 2006. Though the album sold well (about 500,000 copies worldwide), Bullet For My Valentine had difficulty touring in support of it - they were kicked off of a tour for an arguement with Rob Zombie, and had to cancel half the dates on another when lead singer Matt developed tonsillitis. Popular songs Tears Don’t Fall and Suffocating Under Words of Sorrow from the album showcase their energetic metalcore style. Despite the setbacks, the band still managed to release their second studio album Scream Aim Fire on time in early 2008. Featuring a somewhat heavier and more aggressive style, the album has received positive reviews and sold over 200,000 copies in its first two months alone.
