Since 1996, the guys behind Beats and Styles, DJ Alimo and DJ Control have been pushing drum'n'bass-events in Finland bringing the biggest names from Goldie to Grooverider and playing the sound in countries like Estonia, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, Germany, UK, USA, Israel and Russia.In the year 2000 Alimo&Control started to also push the sound of UK garage while working on their debute album, which was drum'n'bass-influenced music with Finnish vocals. It was put out in Finland by BMG and it got a lot of airtime in radio and TV with it's five succesful singles and music videos.
