Straight from the boogie-down Bronx, Nacional Records is proud to introduce its first U.S.-based signing, Pacha Massive. Pacha Massive (from "Pachamama' meaning "Mother Earth"), is the creative collaboration between Dominican-born Nova (keys / guitar/ writer/ producer) and Colombian-born Maya (writer/bass). The group was recently selected by MTV Tr3s to be its very first "Discover & Download' artist; the promotion will run the entire month of February, and will include a major presence for Pacha Massive on the television network as well as online and on mobile.

Pacha Massive (from "Pachamama' meaning "Mother Earth"), is the brain child of Dominican-born multi-instrumentalist artist, DJ and producer Nova. Formed in the Bronx in 2005 the band was Nacional Records' first U.S.-based signing. Pacha Massive are a Latin alternative band incorporating elements of Electronica, Cuban son, Dominican Palo, reggae, dancehall, dub, hip-hop, house, Colombian cumbia, and drum'n'bass dance rhythms.

The group released its debut album, All Good Things, on Nacional Records in February 2007. Pacha Massive have shared the stage with artists like Morcheeba, Taio Cruz, Ozomatli, Café Tacvba, Los Amigos Invisibles, Aterciopelados, Sidestepper, among many others. MTV Tr3s selected Pacha Massive as the channel's first Descubre and Download artist, featuring the single "Don't Let Go.". They also co-hosted the popular weekly countdown show Mi TRL in February 2007.
