Lil Dap first appearance was in 1992 on Gang Starr's LP 'Daily Operation' together with Jeru the Damaja. He is a member of the Group Home, who were in the Gang Starr Foundation. Group Home left the Gang Starr Foundation after a discussion with DJ Premier and later Group Home split. Lil Dap signed at a Polish label and in 2008 he signed at Babygrande, where he's released a solo album, I.A. Dap.
