Jonalee White is one of country music's fastest rising stars. The bubbly blonde vixen's superb combination of traditional country music, smart lyrics, and sex appeal has helped her to climb to the top of the crowded country music circuit in record time. Like Miranda Lambert, who was made famous after appearing on the popular musical talent television show Nashville Star, Jonalee's appearances on NBC's Star Tomorrow and CMT's Music City Madness in 2007 marked her big break into the national music scene.Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Jonalee acquired her master's degree in Kentucky before moving to Cincinnati, Ohio to pursue her musical dreams. Her passionate voice and sultry stage presence made her into a popular Ohio country act, catching the eye of national promoters only after her appearances on Star Tomorrow and Music City Madness. In 2007, while sharing the stage with major country artists like Dierks Bentley, Taylor Swift, and Clay Walker, Jonalee independently released her first single "I Break". "I Break" received substantial radio play, and paved the way for the release of her second single "Sunday Paper" in 2008. "Sunday Paper" proved even more popular than "I Break" - it was played frequently enough to appear on the American Country Countdown's Top 40 chart in early 2008. Both songs come off of Wake Me, Jonalee's first album, which was due out in late 2007 but was postponed to a Febuary 2008 release. With Wake Me now on store shelves nationwide, Jonalee White is set to tour in support of the album throughout most of 2008, lighting up venues everywhere from Key West to Canada until late October.
Jonalee White's bubbly personality, big smile, and contagious laugh can put anyone at ease. With the combination of a sultry country voice and mature writing styles, Jonalee boasts an energy and passion for country music that will draw you in and bring you back for more. With over 100,000+ spins at country radio, Jonalee has had 5 Top 40 singles ("I Break" (2007), "Sunday Paper" (2008), "Wake Me" (2008) and "Perfect Angel" (2009), including the recent single "Naked As Fools," from her eagerly awaited sophomore album "Sugar" via Lick Records.
