Cherish released their first album, Unappreciated, in August 2006 and it reached #4 on the music charts. The first single to be released from this album was "Do To It" (featuring Sean Paul of YoungBloodZ). The video peaked at #2 on the 106 & Park Video Countdown and stayed there for 65 days, after which it made it to the 106 & Park's Hall of Fame. Cherish said the once they retired "Do To It," they would release their second music video. Unappreciated was released soon after.

Although Cherish released Unappreciated only recently, they released their first single "Miss P," in 2003. Producer Jermaine Dupri and Warner Bros. were supposed to help them release their first album, but it never worked out. They reappeared in 2006, signed to Sho'Nuff/ Capital Records. "Do To It" was produced by Don Vito.

Cherish is made up of four extremely talented African-American sisters: Farrah(22), Neosha(20), and twins Felisha and Fallon (18), and they sure have been attracting a lot of attention. They have penned their own songs, and each has her unique style to contribute to the band. While Fallon and Felisha are both tomboyish in their singing, Fallon sounds more laid-back. Neosha has the "sexy" sound with her soprano sound, and Farrah is considered to be the "sophisticated one." Cherish believe that their producer, Sho'Nuff CEO Jazze Pha along with Dre & Vidal, Jasper, Don Vito and Adonis, perfectly complement the band by building beautiful ideas around their songs.

Apart from "Do To It", Unappreciated has other peppy numbers and love ballads, which make the album worth listening to. They deal with issues of life, love, and relationships as a young woman would look at them. Cherish believe that "Whenever," "Ohh," and "Show and Tell" are a mini trilogy of songs starting from the point when a guy says he'd like to take your relationship to the "next level" to when you're not sure if you're ready, and finally culminating in you making up your mind and saying "show me what you got baby!" "Chick Like Me" is a song about the girls and their ideal men.

Unappreciated is Cherish's attempt to make their mark in the ever-growing music industry. So far, they seem to have been pretty successful with "Do To It" and Unappreciated topping charts nationwide. They believe that amidst the Destiny's Childs and the EnVogues of today, Cherish too will develop its own unique fan following because of their own style and different sound.
