Dutch producer and DJ born 25 December 1976 in Leiden, Netherlands.Armin started producing and making music at age 14. He is most well-known for his early trance anthem hits like "Blue Fear", "Touch Me" and "Communication" as well as a prodigious remix resume with well-known remixes for iiO, Solid Sessions, Solar Stone, and many others. He has released three studio "76" (2003), "Shivers" (2005) and "Imagine" (2008) where he worked with artists such as Ray Wilson, Justine Suissa, Jacqueline Govaert, Ferry Corsten, Gabriel & Dresden and Benno De Goeij.Ranked #1 in DJ Mag's Top 100 in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Armin van Buuren has been named number one in the prestigious DJ MAG Top 100 poll four times in a row, from 2007 till 2010. And for the 5th time in 2012. He's the first DJ in the history of the DJ Magazine to achieve that and an indication of his prolific output over more than 14 years he's been dj'ing and producing. Being the official World's Most Popular DJ is just one of his many achievements, but the driving force behind his success is an overriding passion for dance music.

Armin van Buuren, OON (born 25 December 1976) is a Dutch trance producer and DJ. He is the number one ranked DJ having won DJ Magazine's Top 100 DJs fan poll a record of 5 times, including winning 4 consecutive years between 2007-2010 and again in 2012. Since 2001, Van Buuren has hosted a weekly radio show called A State of Trance, which claims to have around 25 million weekly listeners in 26 countries, which would make it one of the most listened-to radio shows in the world. His 2008 studio album, Imagine, entered the Dutch album chart at No. 1, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.
